It is with great thanks that today we received a delivery of sanitising hand cleanser gels donated by J P Corry Builders Merchants in Ramsey. The first batch of these hand gels has been distributed to the children of vital key workers attending the Hub and also to the staff in school who are supporting them. Keith Quane of JP Corry said, “We wanted to donate to a local school. As many of our staff attended Ramsey Grammar School, we thought they may be useful for RGS.” This is another great example of the strength of our community and the very strong links that many of us have established with RGS over a number of years. Thankyou to J P Corry for their gesture and their contribution to keeping us all safe. In line with our shared priority to keep safe, we have today issued a letter reinforcing the message from the Chief Minister on 11th January. That is if young people can stay at home then then they absolutely should do and although Hub provision is in place it should be seen very much as a last resort.
