**IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM MRS BAKER**
There have been a number of IA Level and IGCSE grades released today by the examination boards. We have considerable concerns with a number of grades, particularly with CAIE English Language. We have already submitted a challenge to the English Language results, where we believe that incorrect historical data has been used to calculate the results. We are preparing to contest other results which we feel are not in line with our expectations. I know that this makes things extremely stressful at an already difficult time for all concerned. Could we please ask you to bear with us as we work through these issues and complete our analysis. We will of course keep you fully informed of our progress with any of these issues. We hope to have an update at the latest by this Thursday 13th August. Staff will be available in the West Building from 8:00am on Thursday 13th August primarily for A2 and AS results, but will be available from 12 noon onwards to support students/parents with concerns about IGCSE grades. GCSE results day for all results is Thursday 20th August as published.
Please note that 6th form entry this year will be based on Centre Assessed Grades (the grades that teachers have prepared for students on the basis of their work throughout the course of year 11) rather than on exam certified grades from the exam boards. This is to support students during these unprecedented times.
