We appreciate that many students and parents are concerned about the current COVID-19 situation affecting the Isle of Man and the wider world. As part of this process we are trying to keep staff, students and parents up to date with the latest information information. We take our guidance from DESC and UK Government sites in this daily changing arena.

We are encouraging students to remain calm and take practical steps to minimise the risk of infection. We are also very aware of the impact this is having on many of our students who will soon be taking their final summer exams. As part of our commitment to supporting the people in our community we offer a wide range of supporting mechanisms delivered by staff and outside agencies. If you are concerned about your child in any way then please contact the school and request to speak with their Tutor or Head of Year.

Jan Watson, Cathy Tsitsos, Carrie Shanley & Josie Corrin have offered their support services on line. If any students or staff need to talk or need signposting to online mental health resources, they can contact them via facebook messenger and gmail for Carrie & myself.

Attached below are some other examples of support at RGS and contact details for agencies we use.
