CAT 4
CAT 4 Tests provide a profile of students’ strengths and areas for development. It is an assessment of developed abilities in areas known to make a difference to learning and achievement-
- Verbal
- Non-verbal
- Quantitative
- Spatial reasoning
- and provides us with an accurate analysis of potential student achievement.
The test is standardised on 25,000 students and provides us with valuable baselining data. It also gives reliable indicators for GCSE and A-Levels.
CAT 4 cannot be prepared for however some example questions can be accessed below to help students familiarise themselves with the type of questions that will be asked. There are 8 short tests split into four sections as outlined below, these are taken over a series of three lessons:
